About An Appalachian Rendezvous with French Cinema

An Appalachian Summer Festival invites you to rendezvous with us through four extraordinary French films this summer. With the help of festival film advisor, Dr. John Pfeifer, each film was viewed and chosen with careful thought to bring a well-rounded film series to the festival. The film series strives to select films each year that are not readily available to most markets. A theme is chosen to create a comprehensive, educational and fun aspect to the films in hopes that attendees are given an experience they would not have received in any other place.  Prior to each film, Dr. Pfeifer will host a discussion in the theatre and share behind-the-scenes information about the film.
