Acclaimed children’s writer and illustrator Eric Carle discusses his craft, and the influence of some of the great artists on his work, illustrating examples of these connections in a fascinating slide/lecture presentation.

Following the presentation will be an interview led by Dr. Charles Duke with a reception and book-signing to follow. Several of Mr. Carle's works are exhibited in the Reich College of Education Building, and participants will be invited to view the works. Children (ages 4 & up) are also invited to join us for this event, and during the talk, they will be treated to a story hour and a supervised tour of the exhibited works.
