Ticket Policy

By purchasing a ticket to an Appalachian Summer Festival event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • To abide by all policies set forth by the respective venue(s) for the event(s). Failure to comply with these policies could result in denial of admission and/or loss of ticket privileges.
  • All ticket purchases are made in good faith, with no intention to re-sell tickets. The Box Office has the right to revoke the ticket and void the sale if they find that the ticket was re-sold in violation of this policy.
  • The production company may require patrons who arrive after a performance begins to wait in the lobby until a designated break in the performance. These patrons may be able to watch the performance via closed-circuit television in the lobby until access is granted.
  • The Box Office reserves the right to provide alternate seating to a performance if warranted by staging technical issues or if the seat’s safety has been compromised.
  • There is no compensation for a missed show. Tickets cannot be exchanged after the performance date and time printed on the ticket.
  • Complimentary tickets may not be exchanged.
  • The Box Office reserves the right to temporarily lock out or deactivate accounts suspected to be violating ticketing policies.
  • In some instances, promotional offers may cause an initially advertised price to be lower than current pricing. There are no refunds or reimbursements for these price variances.
  • AppSummer.org and Tickets.com are the only official sources for tickets to An Appalachian Summer Festival.
    • AppSummer.org, AppStateSports.com and AppStateSports.EVenue.net are official sources for tickets to concerts in Kidd Brewer Stadium.
  • The Schaefer Center Box Office is not responsible for tickets purchased from third-party sellers. Tickets sold via unofficial sources may be invalid or not accepted at An Appalachian Summer Festival events.
  • Tickets to all events that are part of An Appalachian Summer Festival are non-refundable. If a ticketed event is canceled for inclement weather or for other reasons beyond the university’s control, you will be notified by the Box Office regarding refunds or exchange options for a rescheduled event.
